Video Production

They say video is king, and I’m a video queen! I got my degree in Digital Media Production from Drake University and have experience writing scripts, directing live shows, manning cameras, filming, staging, interviewing, producing, editing, and even have been known to be on camera from time to time. I like to edit with Premiere by Adobe but am also familiar with DaVinci Resolve, Avid and iMovie. Currently working on building my skills in After Effects.

PHOTOGRAPHY

I love the art of photography. I especially enjoy portrait photography and travel photography. One thing I hear from clients is that they love how I am able to make them feel so comfortable in front of the camera. Check out some of my pictures here.

Social Media

I’m Gen Z and social media runs in my blood. I grew up on Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tumblr, Facebook, Pinterest, and Tik Tok: for better or for worse. For a while, I was pretty active content creator on social media, but have been focusing more on other forms of video lately. Now I mainly stick to social media promotion and strategy for clients. Photoshop & Graphic Design

Another cool thing about growing up Gen Z is you are born with Photoshop skills. Just kidding. But I have been photoshopping since I was like 12. I also really enjoy design in my free time. You can check out some of my work here. Fluent in Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.

Writing

With a passion for storytelling, public service, and translating complex information for broad audiences, I write to spread awareness, to aid teams I work on in operating more effectively and to entertain. Knowledge is power and awareness is the first step to making change. But it’s human emotion that is the catalyst to action. You can teach someone a lot just by telling a story. If you’re doing your job right, you can make them feel a lot too.

Audio Production

My experience with Audio lies mainly in podcasting and radio. I hosted my own Radio Show at Drake for two years and have more recently been breaking into the Podcasting world. I developed and co-produced a podcast called Midwest Mixtape (2023). In my internship at de Novo Marketing Agency, I developed and co-produced a podcast called “Think Fresh” (2024). I have really enjoyed getting more into the audio-sphere. Check out both podcasts on this page .

Public Relations

A professor of mine used to say that customer service is the foundation of public relations. As someone who’s spent their whole life in the service industry, and earned a double major in Public Relations, I totally agree with that. I’ve been serving customers since I was 11 working the counter at my dad’s local gas station; the last full-service station in Iowa. My love for customer service comes from my passion for connecting with others. That’s what got me interested in communication, public relations, and similar-type-roles. I’ve got a knack for making fast friends and meeting people where they’re at. I have a genuine curiosity about the world, a love for connecting with others, and a mission to put goodness out in the world, making one friend at a time.
